(0700) Depart from your hotel and proceed for your journey to Kinabalu Park. Roughly it takes 1 ½ hour drive through scenic countryside and beautiful mountain range. Upon arrival at Kinabalu Park Head Quarters, register your name at the counter with your I/D or passport for registration. Meet your Mountain guide and collect your lunch box and the climb begins to Mount. Kinabalu rest house (3,323m). Although the climb requires no special skills, it is no means an easy trek and demands at least a basic level of fitness. The ascent takes you through an Upper Montane Forest which graduates to sparsely vegetation, corresponding to the higher altitude and harsher environment. Stop for a packed lunch along the trail and end your day at the rest house. Dinner at Laban Rata Restaurant and overnight accommodation is in dormitories.

    Elevation: 4095 meter / 13,435.7 feet ; Hiking Time: 4 – 5 Hours

(0230 HRS) Your conquest begins in wee hours, ahead of the heavy morning mist, to catch the first rays of the sun at early dawn. Low’s Peak (4,095m) is your summit destination for spectacular view of the distant horizon and as far as the eyes can see (weather permitting). Descend back to park headquarter after breakfast, where successful climbers are awarded a certificate. Overnight at Kinabalu Park Resort.

(0700HRS) In the morning make your way to the Poring Hot springs where you can walk amongst the forest canopy, discover hidden waterfalls and soak in natural hot springs. Then lunch at a local restaurant before heading to Kg Luanti to experience the unique fish spa.

    1500HRS Depart to Kota Kinabalu
