Located on the island of Borneo, East Malaysia comprises the states of Sabah & Sarawak, along with the federal territory of Labuan. The tiny oil-rich Sultanate of Brunei is sandwiched in the middle. The gulf between East and West Malaysia is greater than the 644km (400 mies) of ocean that separates them.

The history of Sabah is different from that of the peninsula. British control was more direct, through the ruling dynasty of the British North Borneo Company, which administred the territory now called Sabah. Today, the town in Sabah have expanded without losing much of it's original charm. Shopping used to be a low priority for visitors to East Malaysia. This is changing. In recent years, numerous malls has been built and the old shophouses have become increasingly redundant. For the moment, however, this is still a place for quiet relaxation. There are many five star resorts, most of them on the coast of Sabah. Locations such as Nexus Karambunai, Shangri-La Tanjung's Aru, Rasa Ria resorts and the Sutera Harbour Resort take advantage of the astonishingly clear blue seas of Sabah.    >Read More

"Thank you very much for the arrangement
      of the tour.

Your tourist guide, Miss Asna and the
      driver,
Mr. Jeremy were very nice hosts.
Especially Miss Asna seems to have deep
knowledge of the wildlife of Borneo, telling
us a lot of interesting details of the
      animals’ lives.

I, my wife and my daughter were
      positively impressed.

When we come back to Kota Kinabalu,
      we’ll
definitely call your company again."
