Scenario of your tour
Your journey to Tambunan Rafflesia centre is a journey of hilly trip that passes through countryside houses and industrial estate prior to reaching the Gunung Emas. It take about 1 hour to reach Gunung Emas. There, you can have refreshment or if you want you can even have your Malaysian favorite foods. Or if you are not interested of the drinks or foods, you can enjoy the bird’s eye view of Kota Kinabalu.
Upon reaching the Tambunan Rafflesia centre, you will be requested to register before you are allowed for the jungle trekking to witness the world largest flower in the world, the Rafflesia flower. The jungle trekking will last for about 2-3 hours.
Schedule time
7:30 am - Depart from your hotel lobby to Gunung Emas.
9:00 am - Arrive Gunung Emas.
9:30 am - Arrive Tambunan Rafflesia centre.
1:30 pm - Lunch at Gunung Emas restaurant.
2:30 pm - Depart back to Kota Kinabalu.
4:00 pm - Arrive at Kota Kinabalu and transfer back to your hotel.
