Scenario of your tour

The first day will be a day of self-introduction. This will begin with our guide. He will be at the airport to welcome you on your arrival and later you will be guided to a welcoming and an introduction tour of Kota Kinabalu. Thereafter you will be transferred for a check-in to your hotel. This day, the choice is yours because you are given your free own leisure.

Be prepared on your second day to be ready at 8.30 am. That is the time that you will be picked from your hotel to begin your 2½ hours journey to Poring Hot Springs. During this journey, you must always be alert and you must not sleep to avoid missing the scenic countryside and beautiful mountain range. Take pictures of those beautiful places for you to keep as your souvenirs of your visit. It is also along this trip that you will have the opportunity to make a stop over at Pekan Nabalu for you to shop for local souvenirs or fruits at affordable prices. From Nabalu, you will have another 1 hour drive through mountainous range and passing through Kundasang, Sabah’s vegetables growing valley, before you can reach Poring Hot Springs. There, if you want to walk on the 41 meters high and 157.6 meters long Treetop Canopy walkway, you will have to hike for 20 minutes in order for you to reach at its site where you can have a bird’s eye view of the rainforest.

After the walk and the hiking, you must take a dip in the outdoor Japanese style bathtub with the sulphuric hot water believed to have medicinal value for your skin or else you will regret not to have tried the bath which you may not experience it again. Your next tour will be to Kundasang where you can select a restaurant of your choice for your lunch before you can proceed to Kinabalu National Park. There, you must visit the famous mountain garden to find out for yourself the different species of plants found at that site. If you are in doubt, you don’t have to worry because you will be guided by the naturalist who will explain everything about the different species of plants that you are curious to know. Your second day will be your overnight stay at the Park or at Kundasang resort area.

On your third day, you will have your breakfast at the resort before you will be transferred to the Borneo Kelly Bay Lagoon Park for you to test your skills to catch crabs, swimming or snorkeling. Your lunch will be at the park. After you are done with your tour at the park, you will be transferred back to Kota Kinabalu where you will continue your tour to Manukan island. First, your trip will begin with a transfer to the Beach Burns Jetty for your Manukan island trip. Upon your arrival at Manukan, you are requested to register your name before you can collect your snorkeling gear. You will be there until the afternoon so you can enjoy your snorkeling for you to discover the underwater haven. If you are not interested to go snorkeling, you can opt for the jungle trip on the island. The other option for you on this boomerang shaped island is to just simply lie on the beach and enjoy the tropical sun. On this day, you will spend the night at the island’s chalet.
Your fourth day tour will be your trip to Sapi island. Your stay there allow you to enjoy your snorkeling or swimming skills. By noon, you will be served with BBQ lunch. At 2.30 pm, you will be transferred back to Manukan island where you will be given your free own leisure for about one hour. Thereafter you will be guided back to Kota Kinabalu for your well earned rest of the day.

By the fifth day, you must have exhausted your energy after three days of adventurous tours. So it is appropriate that this day is allocated for you to regain your lost energy. It is your free own leisure and the choice is yours. On this day too it will be your last day stay in Sabah. You will be picked up from your hotel once you are ready for your booked departure flight and a goodbye to Sabah until your next visit.

08.30 am - Pick up time to Poring Hot Springs
09.30 am - Stop by at Pekan Nabalu.
10.30 am - Arrive Poring Hot Springs / Canopy Walkway / outdoor sulfur bathtub.
12.30 pm - Lunch at Kundasang restaurant.
01.30 pm - Trip to Kinabalu Park / Visit to Mountain Garden.
03.30 pm - Check-in / overnight stay at Kinabalu Park or Kundasang resort area.

Day 3
07.00 am - Breakfast at Resort Hotel.
08.00 am - Check-out from Resort Hotel / proceed to Borneo Kelly Bay.
10.00 am - Arrive Borneo Kelly Bay / free own leisure / swimming / crab catching / batik painting
12.00 pm - Lunch at restaurant.
01.00 pm - Depart Borneo Kelly Bay / to Jetty for Manukan Island tour.
02.00 pm - On board a speedboat to Manukan Island.
02.30 pm - Check-in to chalet / overnight stay in Manukan island.

Day 4
08.30 am - Pick up time to Jetty to Sapi Island day trip.
09.00 am - Depart by boat to Sapi island.
09.15 am - Arrive Sapi Island / Option water sports - snorkeling or swimming.
12.00 pm - BBQ Lunch in Island
02.30 pm - Depart Sapi Island to Manukan Island / Free own leisure.
03.30 pm - Depart Island back to Jetty.
04.00 pm - Transfer back to Kota Kinabalu.

Free own leisure.
