Scenario of your tour

Our guide will meet you at the airport. After that you will be guided to a welcoming and an introduction tour of Kota Kinabalu. Later you will be transferred for a check-in to your hotel. This day, you will have sufficient time of your free own leisure. Its all yours. The choice is yours.

Your second day tour will begin at 8.00 am for a 2½ hour drive to Kuala Penyu town. Upon arrival, you will be transferred to the jetty and onboard a boat you will travel for another 25 minutes to Pulau Tiga island, Borneo Survival Resort. Upon reaching the island, you will be given a short briefing prior to your trekking to the Volcano mud and soak yourself into the pool of therapeutic volcanic mud. After a muddy experience, retrace your journey back to the beach to wash off the mud with a short stop over at the site where the famous SURVIVOR Series was filmed by the American CBS production in March 2000 and the UK based BBC production the following year. Lunch will also be served at the resort restaurant. Your second day tour will be your free own leisure where you can choose your favorite activities such as going for snorkeling or for a swim. Dinner and an overnight stay at the island resort complete your tour of the day.

The third day tour will start with a breakfast at the restaurant of Pulau Tiga resort before you check-out of the resort and onboard a boat, you will be transferred back to Kuala Penyu jetty and then back to Kota Kinabalu. Also on your third day tour, it will be filled with visits to Kudat, Simpang Mengayau where the Northern Tip of Borneo is situated, and the Rungus Longhouse. Your trip begins with a 3 hour journey to Kudat. Upon reaching Kudat, you will be treated for lunch at one of the town restaurants and after that your tour will proceed to Simpang Mengayau where the Northern Tip Of Borneo is located. While there, take the opportunity to enjoy the serene and pulsating panoramic view of the tip of Borneo. After your tour to Simpang Mengayau, you will be led to the Rungus Longhouse, the final destination of the day and a place for you to enjoy your prepared local dinner, the cultural performance by local villages and an overnight stays for your complete rest of the day.

Your fourth day starts with a local breakfast at the Rungus Longhouse before you check-out of the house and depart back to Kota Kinabalu. And while on your leisurely trip back, you can request for a stop over at any stalls beside the road to buy local handicrafts, foods and a popular barbecue corn. Your lunch will be served at one of the restaurants in Kudat before you will be transferred to Kinabalu for you to go shopping or for you to enjoy the night city life once again.

The fifth day will be your total relaxation day after a three long and weary days of tours. It is your free own leisure. It’s all up to you. The choice is yours. However, since the final day is also your departure day, you must also be ready to pack your belongings before you will be transferred to the airport for your departure flight and a ‘goodbye’ to Sabah.

Day 1
ETA / BKI – Welcoming & introduction tour of Kota Kinabalu / transfer for check-in hotel.

Day 2
08.00 am – Depart to Kuala Penyu.
10.30 am – Arrive Jetty / depart by schedule ferry to Pulau Tiga.
11.00 am – Arrive Resort.
11.30 am – Trek to Mud Volcano.
01.00 pm – Lunch at Resort restaurant.
02.30 pm – Free own leisure / snorkeling or swimming
07.00 pm – Dinner / overnight at Pulau Tiga Resort.

Day 3
07.30 am – Breakfast at Pulau Tiga Resort.
09.00 am – Depart Pulau Tiga to Kuala Penyu jetty.
09.30 am – Depart Kuala Penyu to Kota Kinabalu.
12.00 pm – Lunch at city area restaurant.
01.00 pm – Depart to Kudat.
04.00 pm – Approximate arrival time at the Tip of Borneo.
05.00 pm – Depart to Rungus Longhouse.
06.00 pm – Approximate arrival time at Rungus Longhouse.
07.00 pm – Dinner/cultural performance by local villages.

Day 4
07.30 am – Local breakfast served at longhouse.
10.00 am – Check-out longhouse and depart back to Kota Kinabalu.
12.00 pm – Lunch at one of Kudat’s restaurants.
01.00 pm – Transfer back to Kota Kinabalu

Day 5
Free own leisure.

Pick-up from hotel to airport for departure flight. ETD BKI.
