Scenario of your tour

The first day will be a day of getting to know you. This will begin with our guide. He will be at the airport to welcome you on your arrival and later you will be guided to a welcoming and an introduction tour of Kota Kinabalu. Thereafter you will be transferred for a check-in to your hotel. This day, the choice is yours because you are given your free own leisure.

On your second day, be prepared to be ready at 8.30 am as that is the time that you will be picked from your hotel to begin your 2½ hours journey to Poring Hot Springs. During this journey, you must always be alert and you must not sleep to avoid missing the scenic countryside and beautiful mountain range. Take pictures of those beautiful places for you to keep as your souvenirs of your visit. It is also along this trip that you will have the opportunity to make a stop over at Pekan Nabalu for you to shop for local souvenirs or fruits at affordable prices. From Nabalu, you will have another 1 hour drive through mountainous range and passing through Kundasang, Sabah’s vegetables growing valley, before you can reach Poring Hot Springs. There, if you want to walk on the 41 meters high and 157.6 meters long Treetop Canopy walkway, you will have to hike for 20 minutes in order for you to reach at its site where you can have a bird’s eye view of the rainforest. After the walk and the hiking, you must take a dip in the outdoor Japanese style bathtub with the sulphuric hot water believed to have medicinal value for your skin or else you will regret not to have tried the bath which you may not experience it again.

Your next tour will be to Kundasang where you are given the opportunity to select a restaurant of your choice for your lunch before you can proceed to Kinabalu National Park. There, you must visit the mountain garden to find out for yourself the different species of plants found at that site. If you are in doubt, you don’t have to worry because you will be guided by the naturalist who will explain everything about the different species of plants that you are curious to know. Your second day will be your overnight stay at the Park or at Kundasang resort area. Your third day tour will be filled with visits to Kota Belud, Kudat, and Simpang Mengayau where the Northern Tip of Borneo is situated, and the Rungus Longhouse.

Your trip begins with a 1 hour journey to Kota Belud that will offer you the Sunday ‘tamu’ if you happen to be there on Sunday, where various local goods, foods, drinks, and handicrafts will be on sale to local and tourist alike. Your stay at Kota Belud will be between 30 minutes to 1 hour before you proceed to Kudat. Along the way to Kudat you will be guided to visit the Bee Farm where you can see for yourself how bees are rare and how honey are extracted from them. Upon reaching Kudat, you will be treated for lunch at one of the town restaurants and after that your tour will proceed to Simpang Mengayau where the Northern Tip Of Borneo is located. While there, take the opportunity to enjoy the pulsating panoramic view of the tip of Borneo. After your tour to Simpang Mengayau, you will be led to the Rungus Longhouse, the final destination of the day and a place for you to enjoy your prepared local dinner, the cultural performance by local villages and an overnight stays for your complete rest of the day.

Your fourth day starts with a local breakfast at the Rungus Longhouse before you check-out of the house and depart back to Kota Kinabalu. And while on your leisurely trip back, you can request for a stop over at any stalls beside the road to buy local handicrafts, foods and a popular barbecue corn. And before you reach Kota Kinabalu, you will be given a chance to visit the Borneo Kelly Bay Lagoon Park to find out if you have the skills to catch crabs, swimming or snorkeling. Your lunch will be at the park. After you are done with your tour at the park, you will be transferred back to Kota Kinabalu for you to enjoy the night city life once again.

The fifth day will be your total relaxation day after a three long and weary days of tours. It is your free own leisure. It’s all up to you. The choice is yours. However, since the final day is also your departure day, you must also be ready to pack your belongings before you will be transferred to the airport for your departure flight and a goodbye to Sabah.

Day 1
ETA / BKI – Welcoming & introduction tour of Kota Kinabalu / transfer for check-in hotel.

Day 2
08.30 am – Pick up time to Poring Hot Springs
09.30 am – Stop by at Pekan Nabalu.
10.30 am – Arrive Poring Hot Springs / Canopy Walkway / outdoor sulfur bathtub.
12.30 pm – Lunch at Kundasang restaurant.
01.30 pm – Trip to Kinabalu Park / Visit to Mountain Garden.
03.30 pm – Check-in / overnight stay at Kinabalu Park or Kundasang resort area.

Day 3
08.00 am – Breakfast at resort hotel.
09.00 am – Pick up time to Kota Belud
10.00 am – A brief stop over at Kota Belud’s ‘Tamu’ if it is on Sunday.
10.30 am – Depart to Kudat / a visit to the Bee Farm.
11.30 am – Arrive Bee Farm.
12.00 pm – Depart to Kudat town.
01.00 pm – Arrive Kudat / Lunch at town’s restaurant.
02.00 pm – Proceed to Simpang Mengayau, The Northern Tip of Borneo.
03.00 pm – Arrive at the panoramic view of the tip of Borneo.
05.00 pm – Proceed to Rungus Longhouse.
06.00 pm – Arrive Rungus Longhouse / check-in.
07.00 pm – Dinner / cultural performance by local villages.

Day 4
08.00 am – Local breakfast at longhouse.
10.00 am – Check-out of the longhouse and depart back to Kota Kinabalu.
12.00 pm – Proceed to Borneo Kelly Bay Lagoon Park.
03.00 pm – Transfer back to Kota Kinabalu

Day 5
Free own leisure.

Pick-up from Hotel to airport for departure flight. ETD BKI.

   I would like to know the prices of each of your tour offered, is that possible? so that I can plan out my budget. Also, can you recommend tour that doesn’t need so much of hiking or climbing, but we do interested in visiting the Long houses.
