Scenario of your tour
Your initial tour for the first day is a trip to a village of Sukau by the Kinabatangan river. Upon arrival, you will be checked-in at Sukau Sri Menanggol cabin. Your next tour is the river cruise along the river for you to find out for yourself the many behavior of the elusive odd nose monkey, the Proboscis monkeys. Your day will end with your overnight stay in the village where you will also be served with dinner.
Your second day starts with a breakfast at the village and before you will be guided back to Sandakan airport for your flight back to Kota Kinabalu, you will be given the opportunity to visit the famous Gomantong cave. The journey will take 30 minutes drive. Upon arrival, you will have to take a 15 minute walk to the cave. The short jungle walk will enable you to observe birds and primates.

Here, you will have the opportunity to explore one of the fascinating caves in Sabah. The cave is home to the millions of bats and swiftest. The swiftest are collected for the famous Chinese edible birdÕs nest soup.

Schedule time

Day 1
06:00 am – Pick up time from your hotel for a transfer to Kota Kinabalu International Airport for a flight to Sandakan.
07:45 am – Arrive at Sandakan Airport / transfer to Sukau / overnight stay at the village.

Day 2
08:00 am – Breakfast / Transfer to Gomantong caveÕs visit.
09:30 am – A visit to Gomantong cave.
10:00 am – Arrive Gomantong cave
12:30 pm – Lunch
01:15 pm – Transfer to Sandakan Airport for your return flight to Kota Kinabalu.
04:00 pm – Arrive at Kota Kinabalu International Airport and transfer back to your hotel.
