Scenario of your tour
Your tour will begin with a 2 hour journey to Beaufort. When you reach at the jetty, you will be welcomed by a welcoming drink with an introduction of local cakes called ‘kuih’ in malay language.
Your river cruise commences half an hour later. In this cruise, you will be able to learn the many behaviors of the Proboscis monkeys and other wildlife. That is your first day activities before you will have your dinner at the jetty and an overnight stay at the lodge for the day’s rest.
Your second day will be a breakfast at the lodge restaurant. Until noon, you have your free own leisure before you will be feted with lunch at one of the local restaurants in Beaufort town. After your tour of the town, you will be transferred back to Kota Kinabalu.
Day 1
Proceed to Klias / Gerama / Weston about 2 hours to Southern part of Sabah, passing the beaches, villages, paddy fields and plantations. Checked in and enjoy light refreshment with local cakes upon arrival. Later, start the cruise down the river and experience the tranquility of mangrove wetlands which is also home of many species of wildlife. Search for the proboscis monkeys, catching glimpses of the Long Tail Macaque, rare Silver Langur and occasionally birds of prey like the Crested Serpent eagle or White Bellied Sea eagle. After the cruise follow by dinner, watch the natural phenomenon of the fireflies lighting up decorating the mangrove tree from the Jetty lounge. Overnight at Klias / Gerama / Weston River Lodge.
Day 2
Wake up to the sound of the soaring birds and other wildlife bringing you the sight of the serene mangrove. Breakfast & free at leisure or take optional tours – another morning cruise (Klias/Gerama) or Mud Trekking (Weston). Depart back to Kota Kinabalu city after lunch.

Important notes : Sighting of the wildlife animals cannot be 100 % guarantee.
A non-refundable deposit in local currency equivalent to 50% of the tour is required on bookings, together the guest personal details. Confirmation of booking (in form of invoice) will be send as receipt of deposit. The balance of payment to be paid not later than 3 weeks prior to the commencing date of the tour.
