TERMS & CONDITIONS – TOUR PACKAGES

All Rates are Valid till 31st March 2008

1. Package Price is quoted on a 10% basis
2. Package Price is based on minimum of 2 persons (SIC) – except for KK013
3. Single Traveller/private tour is inclusive of 50% surcharge
4. Tour pick-up from any hotel as listed below is entitled with 50% additional surcharge

- Shangri-La Rasa Ria Resort, Nexus resort Karambunai, hotel at Sepanggar area (any tour to Southern part)

- Beringgis Beach Resort, Langkah Syabas, Hotel at Kinarut area (any tour to Northern part)
5. Tour to Sandakan & Lahad Datu (Exclusive Kota Kinabalu area Airport transfer and airfare)

RESERVATION

1. Walk-in Guest – Full payment upon confirmation.
2. Advanced Booking Guest – 10% non-refundable deposit upon placement of booking, 50% payment to be settled 2 weeks before tour/transfer commence. Payment balance has to be settled 7 days before tour/transfer commence.
3. Booking via walk-in/ email / fax / telephone
4. Payment to be made in CASH / BANK-IN to :

GUEST DETAILS REQUIRED

1. Full name, passport/ NRIC number, resident address, contact details (tel/mobile/fax/email), number of persons, duration of tour/transfer/hotel booking request, type of tour/transfer/hotel request.
2. Guest required to provide their own personal travel insurance.
3. Guest required to provide their arrival & departure flight details.

CANCELLATION CHARGES

100% cancellation charge - within 6 days before tour/trasfer commence/no show/last minute cancellation.
50% cancellation charge - 7 to 14 days before tour/transfer commence.
20% cancellation charge - 15 days & above before tour/transfer commence.

TERMS & CONDITIONS – CAR RENTAL

IMPORTANT NOTES :

1. Additional pick-up and drop-off charges are applicable. These charges are not included in the calculations.
2. Booking is not confirmed until a confirmation number is released by KK LEISURE TOUR & RENT A CAR and a MYR 100.00 (per car per booking) rental deposit is collected.
3. 1 day rental is on a 24hrs basis. Any additional hrs will be calculated at 1/5 of the daily rate to the max of 5
hrs. Thereafter 1 additional day rental will be charged.
4. A valid major credit card number is required with all reservations. Debit cards are not accepted for reservation confirmation. A deposit per vehicle per booking will be collected upon confirmation of vehicle. The deposit will be forfeited if booking is cancelled less than 5 days prior to pick-up date and in the event of ‘no show’.
CANCELLATIONS CHARGES :

1. A deposit of MYR100.00 (per car per booking) will be taken upon confirmation of vehicle.
2. This deposit will be forfeited if a car booking is cancelled less than 5 working days prior to pick date and in the event of NO SHOW.
3. For any bookings cancelled more than 5 working days prior to pick up date, a sum of RM50 or 5% of the total cost (whichever is higher) will be charged for administrative fees.
4. When vehicle in CATEGORY C and CATEGORY D is transferred from Kota Kinabalu to any other cities for a booking and if cancelled, a cancellation fee of RM200.00 (RM: two hundred only) will be levied.
5. Any changes made on your reservation, amendment in the booking dates, hour or vehicle type in full or in part, must be made through our office KK Leisure Tour & Rent A Car and NOT through the other operator.
6. The amendments must be made in writing, quoting the booking reference number and the email address you have originally used to make your booking.
7. All amendment requests are subject to reconfirmation and availability.
8. If the amendment results in a refund of payment, an administrative fee will be charged on the amount to be refunded equivalent to 5% of the total value or RM50, whichever is higher.
