The tour makes its way North to the tip of Borneo. But first you will stop by at one of the most interesting “Tamu” in Sabah set in Kota Belud, home to the “Cowboys of the East.” A weekly event, the Kota Belud “Tamu” is a colorful melting pot of hawkers, vendors, farmers, fisherman and cattle breeder alike. Then visit exciting cultural village where villagers will show you honey and Gong are made, perform cultural dances and showing off artistic talents. The tour will also take you to experience the traditional built longhouse dwellings of the major tribers. For the highlight of the tour, travel to the tip of Borneo and gaze in awe at the grandeur scenery of the wide open coastline as you stood at the dramatic landscape that took million of years to form.

DAY 1 : KUDAT LONGHOUSE / SIMPANG MENGAYAU

0730HRS
Pick up from hotel and set north to Kudat located at the tip of Borneo. Along the way, stopover at Gombizou and Sumankap villages to observe the gong-making and honey bee farm. Lunch at Local Restaurant before proceeding to enjoy the glorious view at Simpang Mengayau, the very tip of Borneo with its dramatic landscape and white beaches.. Then proceed to the Runggus longhouse of one of the indigenous tribe of Sabah. In the evening, enjoy your prepared local dinner and the cultural performance by local villages. Settle down for an overnight stay at the Bavaggazo longhouse.

DAY 2 : KOTA KINABALU

Local breakfast at the Longhouse before checking out from the long house and depart back to Kota Kinabalu. On the way back, you may stopover at any stalls beside the road to buy local handicrafts, fruits, etc. Lunch at local restaurant in Kota Kinabalu before transfer back to hotel.

Drinking Water, Insect Repellent, Good Walking Shoes/Flip Flop, Extra Clothes, Personal Toiletries, Swimwear, Binocular, Hat/cap and Sunscreen. Don’t forget to bring your camera.
